I am a professional ballet dancer and due to the recent covid situation, all my performances have been canceled and I have been sent to work from home. It has been hard to motivate myself every morning.”

“Personally, I don’t often take selfies. My day 1 selfie was quite an uncomfortable process. I struggled for about 45 minutes, and I wasn’t happy with any of the initial results. I was also being very self-critical. Then I remembered Adele’s advice that love should motivate these selfies. So, I made the decision to really send myself messages of love as I took my photos. I was immediately happier, and it was visible in the photos. As the day went on and with the intention of love behind each photo, the process went from 45 minutes to 5 minutes to 1 minute. I also felt myself learn to enjoy taking the selfie each day. It became this sort of ritual; I take a bit of time each day to make myself feel good and show myself a bit of love.”
